We have more than 2,000 referees, assignors, assessors & trainers working thousands of games annually throughout the state of Maryland. Our referees are trained & certified by the United States Soccer Federation and they wear their badges proudly. The goal of the Maryland Soccer Referee Program is to provide all USSF Maryland referees with the opportunity to achieve the highest possible grade, based on each individual referee’s desire, talent and commitment.

There is always need for referees throughout the state.  We encourage current and former players to become referees as they will have a great understanding of the game.  Refereeing is a good opportunity to keep in shape and make a few bucks.  Go to the Maryland Soccer Referee site for more information.
