MSSA Cups

The Maryland cup tradition has a long and rich history that goes back more than a century. The Rowland Cup is Maryland's oldest cup competition, first played in 1914, and is the state's open championship. The Stewart Cup began in 1932 for teams vying for the state's amateur title. The Morton Cup was created to honor former MSSA Vice President Darwin "Lefty" Morton and is for teams not competing in either the Rowland or Stewart Cup.  We also offer the Maryland Over-30, Over-40 & Over-50 Cups.  Our teams also are eligible to play tournaments organized by our leagues and other US Adult Soccer members.

Christos Reaches National Finals
(16 July) The Christos FC O-40 side were crowned winners of the Region I qualifiers after shutting out Manhattan Celtic Masters of Eastern New York 4:0 last month at Ukrainian American Sport Center in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Dan Lader got Christos off to a quick start with his goal in the 18th minute. The team poured it on the second half with goals from Ken Suter, Jesse Kellner and Zack Flores. They will represent the Region at the USASA National Finals that will take place 4 to 6 August at the TBK Bank Complex in Bettendorf, Iowa. 

Fortune was not on the side of Sure Sports FC in their Amateur Cup tie against Newtown Pride FC of Connecticut. In their first time appearance at a Region final, Newtown was too strong in a 7:0 loss.
